Hands up anyone who knows what The Pink House's favourite colour is? Yes - you at the back... That's right; it's blue! Only kidding; obviously here chez PH our favourite hue has to be rose-tinted, as per our outlook on life.
Which is why, when we saw the fabulously pink pics of brand new New York restaurant Pietro Nolita, we just had to share. As far as we're concerned, these photos are proof that pink-on-pink-(on-pink) is always a good idea. They're also proof we need to be booking a flight across the pond, and PRONTO! Apparently you can actually eat healthy Italian food there as well, but whatevs; we'd eat a worm on a stick if we got to sit on one of those candy-coloured bar stools.
Check out this pink shelfie, below. Just when we thought this place couldn't GET any better, we discover the tins on the top shelf were sourced from the actual Mad Men set. It's. All. Too. Much.
And guess what colour the loo in Pietro Nolita is? Bet you can't...
And check out this corner, below. Not only does it have the all-important foliage, but there's a fluorescent light and black-and-white graphic tables too. Excuse us while we go and have a little lie down; it's all too much.
Five things Pietro Nolita has taught us about pink
If you're going to decorate with pink, don't go half-assed. Go pink or go home
Pink and green is the world's best colour combo, plus those plants stop the pink verging into sickly territory
Pink doesn't have to feel girly. This place is edgy af
You can chuck a load of different pink shades together and it just WORKS
Actually, pink and gold is the world's best colour combo (check out the wall light by the bar). Hell; as long as there's pink involved it's going to look great
